How To Apply
An organization seeking funding from the Bennett Family Foundation should first submit a letter of inquiry. This one-page letter (or email) is intended to give us enough information to decide whether your program fits with the current focus of our grantmaking, before grantseekers spend time assembling a full application.
Your letter should include:
a brief description of your organization
confirmation of 501(c)(3) status
the amount requested
description of the specific project, if any, for which you seek funding
contact information
Email your inquiry letter to trustees@bennettfoundation.org. At this time, we are unable to accept mail or telephone inquiries.
Based on your letter of inquiry, you may be invited to make a full application, advised to wait for another funding round, or notified that your proposal does not fit our current focus.
Inquiry letters may be submitted at any time. Grants are generally distributed twice yearly, in November and May.
