## Our focus

The Bennett Family Foundation has, since its founding in 2004, focused its grantmaking on the support of smaller, primarily local organizations that address specific needs in the communities where family members of the Foundation live and work: Greater Boston and Greater Philadelphia.

The Foundation awards grants semi-annually, usually in May and November. Most of its grants are unrestricted and made in support of organizations'general operating expenses. Typical grants range in size from $2,500 to $25,000.

## Greater Boston

Our grantmaking in Greater Boston focuses on helping teens and young adults get re-connected to a supportive community and become independent adults.
