Boston Grants
Our grantmaking in Greater Boston/Massachusetts focuses on organizations that help teens and young adults get re-connected to a supportive community and become independent adults. Typical grants range from $2,500 to $20,000, with occasional larger and multi-year commitments.
When we evaluate proposals, we look at fit with our focus in a broad sense. As the list below illustrates, we are willing to consider missions that address issues of family, mental health and trauma, and access to opportunities. We like to see how you measure your impact on the population you serve. We don't overanalyze financials, but we often use 990s and third-party sources such as GuideStar and Impala in our review.
