Starting Your Application
Before you ask us for funding, please review the restrictions to be sure your qualify. As of June 2022, your organization should either be in New England or be national in scope, addressing an issue relevant to our focus.
Then, send us an initial proposal or inquiry using this form on our site. You can attach additional documents that you think will help us. This gives us enough information to decide whether your program fits with our grant making focus, before you spend time writing a formal grant proposal.
The online form asks you for:
- Name, URL and a brief description of your organization
- Contact information
- Overview of the specific project, if any, for which you seek funding
- The amount requested, if known at the time of inquiry
If we’re interested, we’ll follow up with you. We have no full-time staff, and we cannot answer every inquiry beyond the automated confirmation of receipt.
Initial proposals may be submitted at any time. Grants are generally distributed twice yearly, in May and November. Submit your inquiries no later than April 1 for us to consider in the Spring, and by October 1 for the Fall.
